Conclusions.
bulletBloom was reduced in late clipped strips, perhaps because of reduced nutrient reserves available for bloom after regrowth.
bulletHowever, because lygus bugs apparently moved into late clipped strips, late clipped strips could be used as a “trap crop” to attract lygus from the developing seed crop.
