Materials and Methods
bulletThree acres of research fields were divided into 4 blocks with 3 strips each.
bulletStrips were clipped at different times relative to 50% lygus hatch : early, late, and no clipping.
Degree Day Accumulations for Lygus Hatch: 50% Lygus nymph hatch is expected at about 140oC. Clipping treatments were 12 days apart, just before and after expected 50% hatch.
