(Figure: Bar Graph) Not surprisingly, a greater proportion of flowers
developed pods when all flowers were pollinated (red bars) than when only a
few flowers were pollinated each day. However, even when all flowers were
pollinated each day, only 50% of them developed pods. This is a common
result even in the field.
